Warehouse Team Member – Anchorage Distribution CenterAlaska Commercial Company | Anchorage, AK | Full-TimeAbout the RoleAlaska Commercial Company (ACC) is hiring a Warehouse Team Member at our Anchorage Distribution Center (ADC). You'll receive and unload container shipments, inspect incoming freight, move goods to designated storage areas, and prepare orders for final delivery — all while playing a vital role in getting essential supplies to rural Alaskan communities.What You'll DoReceive, unload, and inspect incoming freight for damage, shortages, and overages; report discrepancies to supervisorsOff-load and secure pallets using pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forkliftsOperate hand trucks, stock selectors, and standard safety equipmentPick, separate, and label grocery and general merchandise ordersPrepare shipments in compliance with postal and airline regulations, including hazardous materials identificationKeep warehouse areas organized, clean, and hazard-freeSupport ADC leadership with additional duties as neededWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED1–3 months of warehouse or related experience (1 year preferred)Ability to follow instructions and safety proceduresBasic computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, inventory and order processing systemsWillingness to learn receiving, unloading, distribution, and retrieval operationsWhat We OfferCompetitive payGrowth and advancement opportunities throughout the organizationBenefits packageA dynamic, inclusive, and diverse workplaceAbout ACCFor over 150 years, Alaska Commercial Company has been delivering groceries and general merchandise to the people of Alaska.
